This holiday movie is pretty emotional, and really not cheesy at all, which I liked! When a best-selling author returns home at Christmas to settle his mother’s estate, he meets a woman in search for her birth mother, and they find a diary that holds secrets to the past.
Yang, and Darren Barnet (Paxton Hall-Yoshida from Never Have I Ever, also on Netflix) all star in Love Hard! It’s a super cute and heartwarming romantic holiday movie, and I love that it’s so multicultural! I absolutely fell in love with Love Hard when it first came out, and I’ll definitely be re-watching it every single Christmas. Kristen Stewart and Dan Levy are a great duo together, and you’ll recognize other faces like Mackenzie Davis, Aubrey Plaza, and Mary Steenburgen!ġ film available on Netflix, watch the trailerĪfter Natalie meets the perfect guy on a dating app, she decides to fly 3,000 miles to surprise him for Christmas and learns she’s been catfished. It’s a hilarious and heartwarming holiday film, and I teared up a few times. If you’re looking for an actually good Christmas movie on Netflix, you’ll definitely want to watch Happiest Season.Ībby plans to propose to her girlfriend, Harper, while visiting Harper’s family for Christmas, only to find out Harper hasn’t come out to her parents yet.
